Early Dementia
Dementia is a term applied to any general mental deterioration. This can be due to organic (physical) or psychological factors. It can be caused, for example, by trauma, metabolic problems, and mental illness. A medical doctor should always be consulted at first signs of confusion and disorientation. If the dementia is related to brain dysfunction (often determined by a neurologist), NeuroMatrix Neurofeedback can benefit in the early stages. However, maintenance sessions will likely be required to extend the benefit and time will likely take its toll.
