Dr. Sams, I can't thank you enough for what you and your colleagues have done for K. She is a completely different child and I have had the opportunity to share with many about what biofeedback has done for her. I wouldn't be surprised if you had a few children from here in the next couple of years or so. K went from 60% in listening, following direction, problem solving, waiting for adult direction to 87% just since June of 07. Isn't that amazing? We continue to see improvement. You thought she was smart last year you should see her this year. She definitely has an engineer's brain. Her godfather is an engineer and they hang out in the workshop all the time together. Constantly fixing and building together. She doesn't forget anything and you can't put anything past her!!! It's probably a good thing you are in a bigger building because what you do will be blessed by God and I know your work is pleasing to Him. Thank you Dr. Sams and Gob Bless. P.S. K is doing equine therapy on Saturdays for an hour. Her horses name is Autumn. K so far likes the fast action (trotting) and riding backwards (no surprise there)!!! Hi Marvin! Tomorrow is the last day of school and the final report from A's teacher says it has been a very good year. We are sure none of the teachers would have guessed it would go so well when school started a mere 9 months ago. The Iowa standard testing for 5th graders was a 3 day affair and her standing was kind of all over but the net result is grade level or above - 9th grade plus in science and 3rd grade in spelling, but the thing that amazed them was that she was relaxed and focused over the time period of the test and did very well - 75th percentile nationally. We will work on spelling, multiplication, typing and Word/Power Point over the summer so she doesn't get into the "I don't want to work" mode. C continues to take things as they come - "No guilt but I might wish I had done some things differently" is her way of putting it. She is having trouble sleeping again and we are wondering if a week's worth' would be of help for her. If you think so I will call Donna to see about putting them together. We are scheduled now for July 5th (Wed) thru the 8th (Sat). That's only 4 days but we will see what you think at the time. Donna says you are working yourself too hard with the Autistic kids - take care of yourself. I keep getting asked what the future brings for expanding your work and, of course, I can't answer that - but boy are you needed! All love and best wishes! H, C and A

Marvin I've been so busy lately. I haven't had time to sit down and write this letter. However, I will make the time since it its so important. It was about 4-6 months ago, we observed the biggest improvements in E. Although changes in him have been gradual, it really "hit" us suddenly. He is calmer, more compliant, grown up and extraordinarily more attentive. We have had no less than 5 close family/friends who see him twice a year or so say- E's a different boy- "he seems calmer and confident." Last year, I had to sit next to him for 2 hours a night while he did his homework. I NEVER even remind him about homework now. It gets done on his own. His grades have improved. His self motivation isn't the best yet- that has improved as well- and will continue to do so with each little "success." We have tried a lot of things to help E and ourselves out of the desperation we were in just a year and a half ago. The public school he is in now is fantastic and his teacher holds him totally accountable. Chiropractic and Vision therapy all helped. I truly believe biofeedback has been God's saving grace for E. He still squabbles with his sister and is an eleven year old boy (we didn't want that to change) but the changes, improvements, have been nothing short of miraculous. Bruce and I sincerely want to thank you for this. We'd still like to continue "peak performance" for E this summer, but I wanted to take time to thank you right now! God Bless

Dr. Sams, He is more interactive, more affectionate, not that that was a problem, but he is more so now, and the behavior is the most different, the anger is gone, the screaming, sometimes he will get a little upset but nothing like before, not arguing, he laughs more, it is a major difference. We actually are having good days. I don't ever remember having a good day, all day. When I see you I owe you a big hug and kiss. S

Hello Dr. Sams We are very glad to be back in California. S is doing great. He has not had any major blow ups at his brothers. He had a minor one, but I tried to get him to breath slowly and it helped calm him down. He is attempting to try more things. His fear of trying new things seems to have turned around 100%. He cleans his room with me telling him only once and gets it done pretty quickly. It used to take up to 8 hours because he would get distracted while cleaning and make the mess worse. He is more talkative, that is what his brothers have noticed. I do not know what difference there will be in his learning abilities yet, we needed a break. Next week we will be camping at the beach down in San Diego for 7 days. I will let you know how that goes when we get back. Hopefully I will be able to get some dates that my husband is available to bring S back. Hopefully in August, I do not want him to miss school. Have a Great 4th of July and try to stay dry. Belinda's 1st email about Trevor's progress... ...Speaking of my kid... I got a call from the school today... asking for us to be present at the school tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. as Trevor RECEIVES AN AWARD FOR MATH!!! That's right.. an academic award!!! He has had a solid "A" in math for the whole six weeks... much better than that "C" average that he struggled to maintain at the beginning of the year!! He also has maintained his "A" in English, which is his other worst subject! He has a strong "B" in Science and Texas History(his best subjects)... which makes this his all-time best report card ever!! Now, he has finals all next week so cross your fingers that he does well and keeps these great grades... See ya! Belinda Belinda's 2nd email about Trevor's progress... Well... here are Trevor's final grades: English 93 (Woo-Hoo!) Math 87 (He had an A until the end of last week!) Tex. Hist 88 (He made a 97 on the Final!!) Science 85 This is his all-time best report card!! He will soon be enjoying brand new tires for his 4-wheeler... they should be here by next Tuesday! :-) Also, I was picking up his unused meds from the nurse's office today and telling her about his great year... and she asked for your name! Her name is J and she is thinking about having neurofeedback done for her boy.. I think he's 15. Anyway, she has only seen Trevor twice this year - once for allergy medication and once for his inhaler... a HUGE difference from last year, when she saw him several times a week, every week! That ADHD medication really had some nasty side effects! Anyway, I hope she calls you.. .I also gave her your web site address. J emailed me that M has now had several sessions!! Woo-Hoo! She also mentioned that he had some deep doubts. not wanting to get his hopes up too high and I told her that the more positive and open he is to neurofeedback the better his results will be and that there is not a doubt in my mind that you will be able to help him. This beats even the final grades from last year! This year, Trevor has really assumed responsibility for his homework, assignments and tests... comes home after school, gets a snack and gets right to his homework! He is very proud of his "good grades" and is really enjoying being one of the "smart kids" this year!! He was very concerned when his math grade fell from an "A" to a "B" the week that grades went in!! What a bummer.. but he is still proud of his accomplishments and we are so proud of the young man he has become! He is shooting for a goal to make NJHS this year! Not only have we seen a dramatic improvement in academics, but we noticed a huge difference on the football field this year from last year! Trevor was totally focused and really gave it 110%... by the end of the season, he was getting quite a lot of play time, too. Dear Dr. Sams, Hope you are having a great day. Just wanted to up date you on C's progress. He has been doing great in school. His teachers and tutors are amazed. His maturity has progressed by at least two years. He is much happier and can express his feeling much better. He got on the honor roll last quarter and made the Principle's list. I am so pleased that it makes me cry with happiness for him Thanks for all you have done for C. I only wish you could help the thousands out there who need you so badly. I tell everyone about you.
